realized that he was a human guinea pig halfway through

You mean he discovers that he is an exhibit in a zoo?  That would be awesome.  But it sounds to me like you would be better off doing it as your own project, maybe with the help of a coder *cough *cough (you did say something about different physics).  If it's a CBP, your vision will end up being compromised.

an exhibit in a zoo or the victim of some kind of human experiment / sample or whatever. Kind of like in the Truman Show, except that you are unknowingly possessed by aliens on their ship instead of being the prisoner of a TV show. Now that the plot has been brought up publicly though it would be kinda stupid to start working on the map now... playing it would be like watching a film you already know the ending of. I'm keeping it in the back of my head though... so that if I ever do something following that concept, noone will see it coming

Are you eager to participate, sire?  ;D

I'm considering joining a CBP for the first time.

Depends on how much free time I have. Right now I'm in a lull in the packing process. Most everything is done, aside from a few small this-and-thats, that can be done while my family is still here. Once they leave in a few weeks, I'll be pretty busy for awhile.

Also depends on the line up. Certain people motivate and inspire me.

Something like that sounds like an episode, not just a single map

My part is done. How should I sent it and where?
I´m RazorZ, mapper from Finland, big fan of Duke - what else you could be waiting for?

It would make for a sick gameplay turn, if the player started in what he thought was a small city map, realized that he was a human guinea pig halfway through and ended up finding his way out of the dome and fighting his way out in the corridors of an actual space station. That would also make for a pretty sick storyline / mission-based experience if done right

I've had this exact same idea too! The player would suddenly just, by accident, hit the boundary of whatever construction he's in and it'd reveal a space station or an alien world or something.

Gotta make something with that idea before you do!
