Can't you see I'm easily bothered by persistence
One step from lashing out at you...
You want in to get under my skin
And call yourself a friend
I've got more friends like you
What do I do?

TerminX over at 3DR forums is looking for people who could contribute to the EDuke32 wiki page.

Would some of you mind working on updating the "Configuring EDuke32" part of http://wiki.eduke32.com/wiki/Installation_and_configuration? That would be helpful, thanks.

Edit: TerminX told me that the link was messed up. Should work fine now.
        Thanks to TerminX.

Wow, it's a DNR scoop!  Even the 3DR forum doesn't have a post about that yet.

I do wish that TerminX would get into the habit of telling us what has changed since the last snapshot.

At your service, sire ;)

Well, I asked TerminX if he would be so kind and pay us a visit every now and then in this thread.
He said he might do that some time.

Mm, a short changelog update included in each snapshot would be very nice.

Another new snapshot anyway : http://wiki.eduke32.com/stuff/eduke32_snapshot_20080308b.zip
For those that haven't already seen what it fixes, see here and here.

A warning posted by DeeperThought over at 3DR forums:

Quote from: DeeperThought, 3DR forums
A warning for the unsuspecting. If you have Vista, do not, under any circumstances, install AIM (if you did and everything works fine, then you're lucky). I did and then I couldn't run EDuke32 (directsound startup error). In fact, my computer was completely raped: http://bumped.org/tek/2007/10/07/aim...player-issues/

If this happens you can fix it by doing this:

http://www.xoxideforums.com/networki...ou-server.html

I know it's not strictly an EDuke32 issue, but it did kill EDuke32 until I fixed it (even uninstalling AIM did not help) so I thought I'd mention it.

Is floor/ceiling see-through realised in eduke32? (like in SW or Blood)

Actually, it is partially. Press T on the floors like 4 times, to activate it. It works just like it does in Colourless-Duke Port. It "works" Its very tricky and in no way is it officially workable.  If you fiddle with it, you might be able to use it. But its hard, at the moment.
