I do like what you have done.
But when making a Doom map for Duke 3D, there are some things to keep in mind:
1. Doom maps are simpler, lacking slopes and other features that Duke 3D supports. Therefore, it is like downgrading the game in terms of level geometry and map effects.
2. The combination of Doom weapons and Doom monsters is well suited to Doom maps. The monsters have a lot of variety, and they look cool, which makes up for the lack of map sophistication.
So, when you make a doom style map using Duke 3D weapons and monsters, the combination does not lead to good gameplay, in my opinion.
