Just played it, it was quite hard to finish due to the amount of baddies and the random weapon / health / ammo placement, I like really hard maps with that type of 'impossible' gameplay so I'm not complaining but a lot of other people might dislike it. I didn't get the starting location though, is the player supposed to start in the gymnasium like that ? The way I finished the level, I started there, ran around grabbing all the weapons and goodies I could find in the bathrooms (constantly dieing and reloading as I was still trying to figure out what to do and where to go to get my hands on the weapons), killed everything in the gymnasium, ventured outside, circled the monsters until I defeated them all (which was hard until I found the hidden devastators and RPG's under the shacks), found the blue key under the last shack, opened the door to the sewers and pressed the nukebutton. I didn't have to venture through the school itself, and it's only after I checked the map in Mapster that I realized how huge it was, and how many areas I had left unexplored. Maybe all these locations (aka. 80% of the map) are primarily intended for dukematch play or something ? If not, then there's a major flaw in the gameplay somewhere.
I liked the map though. The design reminded me a lot of the type of user maps that were coming out in the late 90's / early 00's - not modern-looking yet, but clean cut and more detailed than your average original level, with some fancy sprite use. Shame about the complete absence of realistic lighting, or even wallshading though. And even if I probably played it wrong, killing a bunch of monsters while running for your life like that is quite fun
