Hi folks :).

I'm back with large  rock themed map for classic duke.

I hope that this is a good map...

I played pretty far into the game until I got to the part with the central command, I got the yellow key card then the game crashed once I exited the building with the access swith.

This is a good map, I saw two easter eggs, the one with one the forum users... The other will remain a sectert.

I liked the messed up blue part with the music, the only thing I have to say to it is that there shouldn't have neem enemies there, it should of been just like a trip :D.

Great map though Sanek!

Needs polishing! There are some nice ideas in this map (although some of them are clearly inspired by other peoples work: I saw some obvious red3 influences, and the building with the spriteroof reminded me heavily of Carthiefs work), but some easy-to-fix bugs take the map down a few notches.

For instance, the surrounding area looks buggy at several spots. I think you forgot to raise the ceiling at some points, which causes visual glitches.  This is easy to fix, so please fix it.  Also, make sure that the parralax ceiling has the same shading throughout the map.

The trippy part was a great surprise, it was easily my favourite part. Everything after that seemed like a collection of loose scenes that had nothing in common, but this also made sure that I kept playing. I would say the randomness kept the map interesting.

Overall: fun to play and there are some interesting ideas, but it needs to be polished! In the end the whole thing feels kinda rushed and there's nothing to tie all the loose scenes together - it almost feels like playing a cbp-map. Don't rush your releases, it takes the quality down.

I do not remember the last time I played in maps by him.I had this idea at the time of construction.

but it needs to be polished!

I do not see that this caused problems with the gameplay, you just want to criticize me, like everyone in this forum

it almost feels like playing a cbp-map.

Something you do not like? Then at least everything is in one territory, than in early and other cbp's.How I like,I'm doing that I  doing

Don't rush your releases, it takes the quality down.

I worked on this map about 3 months,I think that the map turned out good(like we say,map is fun and interesting),so anything you want from me then you want bastards >:(?

Sorry Merlijn

What the fuck is wrong with you Sanek, he was trying to complement you and you turn around and think he is calling your map crap or something?

I really think you should get your parents to translate what we say to you from now on because you seem to think all posts are against you.

Yes, I was basically saying: I liked the map, but.. I also point out the things I don't like, that's called an opinion. And some of the bugs I pointed out can be fixed in a matter of minute, why not fix them?

Anyway, it's your problem if you don't want to listen, not mine.

I grabbed the first blue keycard from the underwater area, I came back out and now there's a battlelord with a platoon of pigcops all shooting me out in the open with undodgeable hitscan bullets and no health.  Fuck this.

Since when has Sanek listened to constructive criticism? He takes it as a personal insult. Keep it up and you'll soon earn the rank of "Russian Hater". Take lesson from Gambini and Numan (the one thing they could agree on): don't waste your time trying to give helpful pointers to someone who's going to ignore them. Sooner or later he'll come around to quality over quantity on his own terms.
