Just a pic show that my project is this still alive - I´ve been so busy with my school and haven´t got time for Duke that much.  :-\

Nice!  It looks like an expansion pack from 1997.  I guess that's what you were going for.

It look's great but alot of words that should start with "A" start with "B" :-\

e.g. "- new BLIEN Boss To Take Out!"

Though this could be that English is not your first language? Still looks good though.

I think that's just the font being a little unclear (the 'a' looks a bit like a 'b' indeed). But now we're mentioning the text: there are a lot a lot of grammar issues. Some examples:

'Duke Nukem, the ultimate alien asskicker, have has returned'
'Duke just have has to find out what is it it is'

(be sure to spell check the entire thing, I hope you can easily replace the words?)

Complaints about grammar aside, it does look very cool! The screenshots are looking nice as well, from what I can tell. :)

Thank you for your comments.  ;) The base of this cover was excactly as DeeperThrought mentioned, to be expansion pack looking one.  :) As you remember, I´m from Finland and I´m not extremely good at English. As English writer I get lots of those mistakes, like blien, but don´t worry, guys - I´ll fix this cover after finishing the episode (asap). This was just forestate of this cover, not to be final version.  R)

It does indeed look great. I hope you believe me that i have had almost the same idea TODAY at work, before seeing this thread. Too bad im not going to be the first  :P

Lol, I should have seen that one coming ;D (although that's just e-stuttering, it's not exactly the same ;) ).

@ Razorz: I knew it's not the final version, I just want to be make sure those errors don't appear on the finished product. ;) I think the art itself looks very good.

Hey, guys. The second level of the Rendezvous is almost done.  (Y) I´ll try to complete it for 25.12 - 30.12, later or earlier.
Includes more details, more design-wise and more wide-open areas to discover (I think). Not as much tiny corridors (there are still those ones left, but not as much as earlier) and more length, too.  ;) I tried to create the level actually shorter than the first level, but I failed, it became much longer than expected...  :-\ Naawww, it doesn´t matter.  :) Keep on waiting and merry Christmas everybody!  8)

PS: Feel free to ask anything about my project. I´ve got time now...  O0

What will be included when it's released?  Just maps, or will it also have new art, sound, code?  I'm hoping it will include just the maps and maybe some new user art in the tiles014-15 range.  That's because, if you don't mess with the CONs, then it can work smoothly with existing mods like Duke Plus and Nuclear Showdown.

The only things that could make it incompatible with DP would be art tile conflicts (which is unlikely since DP doesn't use the user art tile ranges) or CON code conflicts.  DP is an enhancement mod that is supposed to be compatible with all original maps and user maps.  If you have a REZUSER.CON and all it does is define your episode and change some sounds, then it won't be a problem.

Yeah, no problem, because my episode is just going to contain some extra sounds, levels and as mentioned earlier, new alien boss. I´m not sure about the boss though, it might be hard to create a whole new boss to the game,  :P the art isn´t the problem, but animations and CON scriptions are a serious problem for me.  :-\
And I think you can help me out with DukePlus to work with my episode - I know your coding skills pretty well and that is no problem to define just levels, sounds and probably new boss to the DukePlus from you, "Codelord".  O0
