"setvar MONSTERSEXPLODE 0" in console will make monsters not explode the moment they fall over dead. I have it set to 1 by default because I don't have the greatest computer in the world so having them blow up automatically tends to clear up room for the game to run on larger and more detailed maps like WGCity and etc.
And it's also because of this reason there's currently no real focus on its' own HRP. Yes, I have made a FEW[very FEW] pictures for a future HRP for this, but there may be at best about 40 pictures[and most are graphics for the money pickups right now]. Until I somehow get a better system[which at this rate won't be happening for a good while], don't expect much focus on an HRP. Besides I'm sorry, but HRP is not the end all requirement for Duke3D guys. I don't mind it, but it doesn't make or break the original game to me, and it shouldn't make or break a mod unless it's necessary to see various things that would otherwise show as black squares, like in some versions of DukePlus.
And yes, you can run it in 32-bit, but since it lacks it's own personal HRP, some things for the customized areas in !NR.MAP and later maps in this mod will look out of place.
